Fifth Union for Mediterranean Trade and Investment Forum

The Tunisian Textile & Apparel Federation (FTTH) participated last week at the 5th UFM Trade and Investment Forum
We discussed the opportunities for growth, facilitating Trade of goods and services, Regional integration, Green and Digital Transformation.
We debated on Inclusive and Sustainable Social & Economic Development in the region, the European Green Deal, Due Diligence, the Women’s role in our companies, quick changes of the labour market and many other strategic subjects.
As Tunisian representatives we also defended our request for more equity and more collaboration regarding the rules of origin in the Textile and Apparel industry. We asked the EU to give more flexibility and advantages to Tunisia and the other countries of the South Mediterranean side in order to boost investment, employment and development.
