Waste2Fashion: FTTH Committed to Advancing Circular Fashion in the Mediterranean
As an official partner of the Waste2Fashion project, the Tunisian Federation of Textile and Apparel (FTTH) participated in the Kick-off Meeting held on 10–11 December in Spain. The event brought together project partners from across the Mediterranean, including Spain, Italy, Egypt, Lebanon, and Tunisia, to align on a shared vision and initiate the first implementation steps.
Funded by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, Waste2Fashion aims to develop innovative, circular, and sustainable solutions for the management and valorisation of post-consumer textile waste throughout the Mediterranean region.
FTTH’s involvement highlights its strong commitment to supporting the transition of the Tunisian textile sector toward circular and sustainable business models, promoting skills development and technology transfer, and strengthening Euro-Mediterranean cooperation to build a more responsible, competitive, and resilient.

Waste2Fashion : la FTTH engagée pour une mode circulaire en Méditerranée
La Fédération Tunisienne du Textile et de l’Habillement (FTTH), en tant que partenaire officiel du projet Waste2Fashion, a participé au Kick-off Meeting tenu les 10 et 11 décembre en Espagne. Cette rencontre a réuni les partenaires méditerranéens issus de l’Espagne, de l’Italie, de l’Égypte, du Liban et de la Tunisie, afin d’aligner la vision commune et de lancer les premières étapes de mise en œuvre du projet.
Financé par l’Union européenne dans le cadre du programme Interreg NEXT MED, le projet Waste2Fashion vise à développer des solutions innovantes et circulaires pour la gestion et la valorisation des déchets textiles post-consommation à l’échelle méditerranéenne.
La participation de la FTTH reflète sa volonté affirmée d’accompagner la transition du secteur textile tunisien vers des modèles durables et circulaires, de favoriser le transfert de compétences et de technologies, et de renforcer la coopération euro-méditerranéenne au service d’une industrie textile plus responsable et résiliente.
